Happy St. Patrick’s Day weekend. I’m not wearing green today. But I did find out thru DNA testing that I have a decent percentage of Irish in me!


Anyway, last week 119
This week 117. I’ve done a boatload of walking the house, unpacking boxes, rearranging things, and not junk snacking.

understandable you've lost with all that activity, Liz.

I continue to be about the same, and that's too high. I've been looking at houses and the one I like the best is not going to happen (well, about 95% sure) because it is up a flight of stairs and that's no good for my knees.

If I lost 15 pounds I wonder if I could live there? But of course I'm "not getting any younger" even if I weigh less. I hate that!

We had a false spring and now back to endless clouds and light rain so maybe that's why, but it feels like I will never find a house I can afford. I saw a couple "fixer uppers" on Friday and even they are over priced.

Nope, not surprised.
My daddy said the only way to keep his knees was to use them, that meant stairs. He managed to hold off on knee replacements til his 80’s.

Yesterday was gorgeous. Rained overnight, started off nice but by the time we left church, it was clouding up and a major outbreak of bad weather was on its way.

But we still have the windows cracked for fresh air from yesterday. Nice first spring and we really do need the rain, just not all at once.

that's true right up until you are actually making your knees worse and there is no clear line.

it's not the going up and down I am worried about, it's the carrying everything I buy - including lawn & garden stuff, which I would need a lot of - up them. weight matters!
