The irony of it all. And I missed most of it, dammit!

Apparently, if during Happy Hour, you have a bit more happy than you need...and serenade everyone with your guitar and your rendition of Jackson Browne's "Take it Easy"--you remember..."standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, with seven women on my mind"...etc--and then you continue to express your happy to the point that the dining car attendants have to call for the conductor...you may INDEED find yourself standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ...where there isn't even a scheduled stop. So no way home when you sober up.

Watch out for the happy. It can get you!

That's quite an efficient rustication (that's your word for the day - I learned it because I have a friend from college names Rusty Cates).

There MUST be a scheduled local stop, isn't there? Yes, I just checked - a daily train at 8:50pm - 8:15am arrival in Los Angeles - a milk train, evidently.

Yes and no.

There IS a train. We were told there was not. But that "milk run" is, I think, the only show in town.
