Post DS post tummy tuck = abdominal tightness and constipation.

Hello,
I had DS 4 1/2 years ago, had tummy tuck 4 months ago. HELP PLEASE!? Anyone else experience painful tightness of stomach (muscles were not cut) and now chronic constipation. No pain meds here. I’ve NEVER been constipated before, if anything it was the opposite. It just seems like my belly bloats with no where to go, buy in. Any ideas, thoughts, comments would be greatly welcomed. I have tried everything!

Hi Dana,

Sorry you are suffering. I had an abdominoplasty ages ago, but it was undone by a subsequent pregnancy. It took about 6 or 8 months to feel normal afterward. For constipation, I highly recommend pedialax watermelon chewables (over the counter magnesium hydroxide designed for kids but fine also for adults) plus tons of water.
