We're, at a lovely water front rental in coastal Alabama. I cannot remember the last time I soaked in a deep claw foot tub. It has to have been when I was a child at my grandmother's. My fiberglass molded tub/shower insert at home is functional only. This was sheer heaven. It didn't hurt that honeysuckle was just outside the window. :bath:

When you'd like another soak come on down! We have an original and fully functional claw foot tub in our guest bathroom. I came up with the idea when we remodeled this house in 2005. It's the old home place where husband grew up and we moved here from Texas in 2005 after my father-in-law passed away. I found it for sale in the newspaper and we drove to Dickson which is a couple hours away to get it. Husband will never let me live that one down. It was in good shape and hadn't been refurbished nor repainted. Has a date on the bottom showing it's 100 years old. It has a hand shower and overhead shower in it and the grandkids love it. I think I've used it two or three times, maybe. We have a shower in our bathroom so I never take the time to run in and use it. If I had it to do over again I probably would skip it and go conventional but I really do like seeing it in the bathroom but I wish our bathroom was bigger so it could be showcased more. Offer stands, soaks for a nickel each!
