Mental hunger

That’s a tough one. With the DS, it’s easier since I typically eat about every two hours anyway as long as it’s on protein.
 
By figuring it out as I go. After downing a bit of junk food and not feeling at all satisfied, I usually realize (after 18 years with the DS) (I’m a slow learner) that I need some protein…and eat it.
 
I'm still very new to this whole thing, but I have planned to eat something (protein usually) every two hours. I have found that adding more fats to my diet helps. I also usually always have some almonds or walnuts around so I can munch (I usually crave the crunch).
