I'm thinking about you guys. I've been popping in here and there checking on everyone.

DS wise I'm doing well I think. At work we had a weight loss challenge to loose as much weight as you can in 6 weeks. The last day was Friday. I lost 26 pounds. I can't complain about that. I think I'm loosing on an average of about 10 pounds a month. Im sure it would be better if I truly would work out. I'm 158 and need to weigh a max of 118 since I'm an umpa lumpa (4'11.5) . Lol

Toot is great at 3 months hes trying to crawl and he turns himself over. He has so much personality with His infectious laugh He is so ticklish. God I love that child.

Well I had the ablation in February. It didn't work. I have my cycle still. The last 2 months the doc Kept saying well lets give it one more month. Well this month he finally agreed the crap didnt work so now I can finally get the hysterectomy so I am gonna get a few iron infusions so I can be in the best situation possible going into surgery. Just a thought, you know how you can pre store Your own blood for surgery, anyone think its Possible 2 store Someone Else's? My daughter donates the max that they can collect in a year so I was wondering is that an option. Just a thought.

On a happier note my insurance is changing from Cigna 2 United Health. They now cover, actually specified in writing, they are covering plastics after WLS! I still don't think I'm going to have anymore elective surgeries. But who knows.

What a little doll! How ever do you put him down long enough to learn how to crawl? I'd be holding him every minute I'm awake.

For a DSer, storing your own blood - ESPECIALLY since you are already anemic - is robbing Peter to pay Paul. It will make things worse for you.

That is one cute baby!

I don't know that storing your own blood will make things worse, but it won't make things better. It works for "normies" because they can absorb more iron to catch back up. That's hard for us to do, even with supplementation. I think iron infusions would be a better idea, if you need them. Not everyone having a hysterectomy loses all that much blood. If you are starting out behind, get iron infusions pre-op to go into surgery at your best. If you are not behind now, talk with your GYN surgeon ahead of time about possibly needing iron post-op, depending on how things go.

I think she's asking about storing her daughter's blood?

Anyway, since I know zero about that, I'll just say... What's up Charris?!?! Good to hear from you, enjoy that baby!

He's so precious!!!! <3

Keep up your weight loss - slow and steady is okay. Thanks for checking in!

Ask about taking Procrit before surgery to build up your red blood cell count.
