so as of Jan 1 I will have health insurance again. I forget how it works, except it is confusing I'm sure. I waived a LOT of options (including vision) but not dental and not long term disability. it will be $145 a paycheck...I think that will be hard but oh, well. and aside from the Well Woman visit and...some other stuff I forget, there is a $5000 deductible. I mean, holy ****.*

seriously, it is confusing. I JUST heard the lady on the phone explain the prescription drug benefit and I have no idea how much my Rx will cost me. just none.

but hopefully less than they were. I dunno.

so, whoopie! I guess.

I wish we could just get catastrophic insurance, and have a self funded acct for the "little" stuff. I supposedly have great insurance now, but if this is the best we've got, I don't want to see the worst.

I have the feeling my company is a good one and the insurance is as good as they could get us. it would be an excellent plan not to ever get sick or in an accident, clearly.

in theory you could. in fact, that is how insurance is supposed to work.
