Crazy cat ladies - created by cat poop?

I always read stuff about our microbiota (this is what they used to refer to as gut flora), and found something new to me about - cat poop. Sorry.

They know that pregnant women can't change kitty litter or they may get toxoplasmosis (sp?), but now we see the critters in cat poop are going to restructure our own microbiota. So, the masterminds in kitties poop will kill your offspring, and then make you nuts to boot.

There you have one more crazy cat lady.

I head someone on the radio (while I was driving to NV?) talking about a person's "microbiome" and how crime experts might be able to tell things like whose biome was the last to have contact with a murdered person and even when - since everyone's biome is unique, like fingerprints.

I don't understand it all but it's so interesting.

apparently LOTS of us are, based on how many may carry this strain,

This stuff fascinates me too, and almost every new thing I read about it leaves me with a wow moment.
