Look what I found at the thrift store today! Thanks to @Elizabeth N. 's post from a while back, I knew what it was! Now I just need to figure out how to play with it!
Mine has birds and leaves and fish embossed all around. Looks like it's never even been used!! @Elizabeth N. - I honestly know more chicken and fish recipes than anything else. Any recommendations for beef cuts (for dummies) Thanks!! Can you tell I'm a little stoked to have found this little beauty today?
Pot roast! Rub your hunk-o-boneless-chuck (or another pot roast appropriate cut) with an envelope of onion soup mix and maybe also a tablespoon or so (half an envelope) of ranch dressing mix and plop it in the soaked pot. Surround the critter with big-cut onions, carrots, celery and (if you use them) potatoes.
Close the pot and stick it in a slow oven for 2-3 hours.
