My E has never been tested. The buzz on this board is that Vit E deficiency is rare. Well for my 2 year surgiversary labs, I added Vitamin E and...
yep I'm low in Vitamin E GAMMA (not alpha, and the dry supplement I take is solely alpha) 0.2 (range 0.3-3.2).
The only Vitamin E GAMMA supplements I can find are packed in oil.
Nuts are high in gamma E... but also in kidney stone producing oxalates so I try to avoid.
Suggestions?
