New here. VSG surgery scheduled for 12/16

Hi I'm Debi and scheduled for VSG surgery on December 16th. I'm starting week 2 of the liver shrinking diet and struggling. I'm hungry and tired. I'm not sure if the hunger is "real of mental". I'm excited, scared, nervous and trying not to freak myself out by reading too much on other sites on the internet. I look forward to reading all of your experiences.

Welcome @Debi ! The pre op diet is HARD! I'm sure you're experiencing both real, and head hunger, but it will be over soon

I thought the pre-op diet was torture and I only had to do it for 6 days. Keep your eyes on the price, you'll get there!

Hi Debi, yes I agree the pre op diet sucks donkeys lol. It's very hard but you got this, you can do it. Also welcome.
