Taking a long scenic route!
Sooo, I thought I would post here since I've been MIA action for a while.
I ended up ghosting Lowe's after I was hired on the spot. It was part time and yet they wanted full, open availability. I realised I had more to offer than that and I was worth more.
I decided to apply at the lab. It took AN AGE to get anywhere but was sent forms from HR an hour after we landed in Cali for my surgery with Dr K. No joke. I was in the loo at Denny's when the email came through with a strict time limit. I frantically told Mike and we ended up filling out the forms in PDF and printing them out at the hotel for me to sign, scanned them back in a emailed them. My life is always strangely complex with timing lol.
Anyways, I started Dec 6th provisioning phones for secure use at the lab. I love my job and I love the lab culture
and I make 10 times what I would have at Lowe's with better benefits and work/life balance
I'm all grown up now with a full time job
