If I was in @hilary1617 position, I would do the exact same thing. I feel for her son. There is nothing worse than feeling like you have no control over your own body. I hope things improve for him!
I was considered MO at a 35.2 BMI.@hilary1617 thanks for sharing that highly personal information, I also have a child, he is 18, he is my baby he has a bmi of 36, I just don't want him to suffer like I did and I know he is not MO. He is still young, doesn't have any major health problems, but both his parents have weight issues (mine is cured with the DS). Hopefully when he goes to college in the fall things will get better, but I will have to see.
I hope he doesn't get any but they are likely developing.my son doesn't have any co-morbs, yet anyway (35 w/comorbs or 40 w no/comorbs)
