I met with him this morning and had a great meeting. He will do my R NY revision to DS. He also said he knows
the work of my original surgeon and it is possible the weight gain is from a failure of the pouch -- which means the surgery may be covered by insurance. I told him I would self pay but he wants to review the GIstudies (which have yet to be done) and if he finds what he suspects wants to try for insurance. I can't tell you how thrilled I am. I feel so lucky--he is literally 10 miles from my house. I hadn't dared hope this would be the outcome -- I was so sure he'd say no. I am flying!! Thanks for letting me ramble.
