crushed pills for how long?

I have a bevy of pills I have to take crushed (most are very nasty tasting) daily. How long does it have be this way? I've tried the sprinkle it on yogurt and in a little bit of cranberry juice route but it's still bitter and nasty!

I swallowed mine whole from the get-go, altho it took forever to take them. Now I take my usual handful at a time.

I never crushed a pill. Why are you crushing yours? Take one at a time with a sip of water. Wait a while and take another one.

my surgeon said we had to take them crushed for ...I think it was a month. I don't recall how long I lasted but a week, maybe, too horrible tasting.

Why are you crushing them? You can take them whole. Slowly. One at a time. Eventually you will be able to toss back a small handful but start slowly!

I was swallowing them before leaving the hospital. I get more and more in at 1 time each day. Just start with one and work up.

Those were my discharge instructions, and i agree, they are so nasty! However, last night I took three pills before bed, one at a time, and the whole night I had a pain in the middle of my chest.

Spread them out further, like half an hour apart.
