Thanks. She needed a bone marrow biopsy because they are suspecting she has leukemia or some other blood disorder. She was retaining 20 lbs in fluid too. I just have a bad BAD feeling about it all.

In a positive note, I weighed 168 on Tuesday at her house which brings me to a grand total of 100 lbs! The anniversary of my surgery was July 24 and I am 8 pounds away from my surgeon’s goal and 20 from my own. I am pleased and proud. I have never lost this much weight before.

Also the thrift store to buy clothes was a brilliant suggestion because I went to the thrift store about ten days before my trip and bought a bunch of clothes and a lot were too big this past week. My new bra that I got a few days before my trip is too big now too. I am not used to a few pounds affecting my clothing sizes.

I’ve learned a lot about clothing sizes. The larger size clothes, over size 12 to about 18, have about 10-15 lbs built into them. Smaller sizes don’t, it’s closer to 5 lbs. that’s why a gain of 5 lbs can affect the fit of smaller clothes.
