Ridiculously easy and delicious!

Fill your crockpot with pork butt. Dump in some cumin, bay leaves, pepper, garlic, vinegar, and some worcestershire. Cook till you can't stand it anymore. The whole house will smell great. I usually do mine overnight or for 12 hours or so. You know it's done when the meat falls off the bone and shreds easily.

Drain off the fat and remove the bones. Put the meat back in the crock and shred it with 2 forks. Add your BBQ sauce of choice, reheat if necessary, and serve.

Sometimes I take the lazy way out and dump in a jar of Green salsa (still season the meat) a little chicken broth and plug in the crockpot.
I serve it with Cotija Cheese, chipped tomatoes, cilantro, onions and of course sour cream and black beans. Yummers!

I find that pork shoulder releases a lot of liquid in a crockpot which really dilutes any seasoning. I have started cooking it plain and after it releases most of its liquid I remove a lot of it and then add whatever seasoning or sauce that I want to cook it with. Now I need ideas for the pork broth!
