It sounds like you have had more scan experience than I have, but because of the frequency I've had to get them, I get MRI if possible because I've had so much radiation. I do think you need to go in (I would) and request something without all the radiation. I was also wondering about renal stones and getting an infection with those, but it sounds like you have some history that would also make me want things checked out as well.
