Is it fresh because I certainly can’t eat this kind of Tashen if it’s stale!! I have doubts that it’s truly kosher though. Lol

Happy Purim!

what is the joke? :dontknow:

Well, the Yiddish word is homentashen (plural) and the American term is hamantashen. And they are special cookies! (I prefer the poppy seed and the raspberry.)

There are MANY ways to spell the word, since it comes from a language with a different way of spelling things. But I've never seen it spelled HUMANtashen. So, human...cannibals...and jokes that need explaining were never very funny in the first place...lol

The more you know...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamantash

Well, clearly I'm in the cannibalistic Judaism category because I got it and laughed out loud. The price is a bit steep, but if you want the real deal human product, this is to be expected. Especially with "home taste". Whose home, I wonder.
I've only ever had the poppy seed variety, but raspberry sounds good. Human, not so much.
