I second Munich’s sentiment…if only I could have had my DS at 30! I think you are very lucky to have somehow walked in to a doctors office who knows DS, is experienced, and knows it’s better (for most people) than RNY! Keeping the pyloric valve so you have a normally functioning stomach (just smaller) is a huge plus! I’d have a talk about your channel length soon and get that ironed out.
