Dr. Boyce and Dr. Williams split

Dr. Boyce:

Both are vetted DS surgeons but only Dr. Boyce has been vetted as a RNY to DS surgeon.
Other difference, Boyce will do the DS on lightweights. Williams insist on a minimum 50 BMI.

I do not know. All I gathered was it was a major disagreement in how to run the practice.

A practice is, in many ways, like a marriage. People change and they way they want things to go leads to splits. I hope they can leave the kids/patients out of it.

For the most part, they have. It was just that one post by Dr. Williams that lead me to believe it wasn’t a friendly split.
