I just cooked a whole Chicken in the crock-pot! It was fantastic really juicy. I put butter under the skin and in the cavity (yes a whole stick). Rub with desired spices. I used a packet of rotisserie spices I had on hand but you can use your own concoction. Spray the pot with PAM. Place whole chicken in the pot breast side down. Cook in high for 4 hours or low for 8- 10.
It was so good fell right off the bone and the gravy from the drippings was rich and velvety!
