Thanks Liz but sorry to hear that. I know she had been miserable and was hoping it was better.
Mine seems to be much better lately (crossing fingers when I say that) so hopefully a specialist can figure it out for her.

Hey there @DSRIGGS ....that's so sweet of you to think about me.
I have an apt with a bariatric/general surgeon surgeon on Wednesday.
Symptoms have been getting worse. I've been on another round of Xifaxan just to rule out that it was just SIBO. It hasn't helped at all. Had a follow up endoscopy last week to make sure the ulcers in my duodenum were healed and they are thank goodness. GI doc and I agree it's likely either scar tissue or internal hernia.
I have a constant dull pain on my right side with bouts of pretty damned intense pain. Lots of nausea which is so foreign to me and I don't like it one bit!
Depending on what I think of this surgeon and what he has to say, then after that I may seek an opinion from Dr. K.
The first picture was one day last week when I woke up not distended. It was rare so I took a picture. The 2nd picture was the same day after I had eaten something. The 3rd is pretty how much how I look all the time. I totally look pregnant.

@star0210 I am doing pretty well. The pain is gone for the most part and I get a little bloated if I eat too many carbs, but nothing like l was having..... So don't much better thanks.
I am slowly gaining weight but labs are not the greatest yet. I think my absorption is picking something hopefully the labs improve too.
