A thread chronicling my journey to DS

    Cognitive Therapy / Counselling requirement?

Ugh, I'm so sorry, if all these weight lost drugs prove anything, it's that this is a physiological problem. Screw therapists trying to make money off this issue.

Congrats! So, you know, the 10,000-step thing is a myth. It's a made-up number, not connected to health. So, it might be better just to pick a distance. My target is 5 miles a day. Or if the step thing is working for you, just stick with it. Whatever works for you.

    I might have ADHD!

Before you get too focused on the downsldes of the menopause process, it really is one of those things that you milage may vary. I read horror stories, I was pretty freaked out. But I sailed right through it, and never had memory issues, hot flashes, night sweats, etc. I did have a UTI that...

    wow.....this pissed me off

Thanks. I wrote a draft and then told Chat GPT to make it sound better. It did a nice job, I wish I wrote that well. I'm still shocked the NY Times published the opinion piece. To be honest, it felt a lot like gaslighting.

    wow.....this pissed me off

OK, I have had food noise my whole life. I cut my body apart and got the DS to conquer the food noise and it barely worked. I read this in the NY Times opinion section. And here is the letter I wrote to the editor. The Opinion piece by Kate Manne. Dr. Manne is an associate professor of...

    I might have ADHD!

I tend to think it's the life you want to live. I'm single, and I carry a San Francisco mortgage. I have a high-pressure job (to pay for the SF mortgage) and run a big team of people at work. I need structure. That said, most executives I know have a personal/executive coach. If i did not...
