Ok, finally trying to get this loaded here correctly..
Couple pics are from the day before and day of surgery: 264lbs and elated.. I wasn't really nervous as much as plain excited, the nerves and freak-outs happened weeks prior. I had made the call at 280lbs a couple months prior. My all time high was somewhere north of 310+.. but that was in my early 20's, from where I lost like a hot rock (at about the same post-op speed, all the way down to 155 for a nano-second.) Granted, doing VVLC dieting was MUCH harder than it was post-VSG.. it wasn't lasting..
Me smiling in the hospital gown, before Versed..
Lowest ever (save for a nasty lower weight post-bronchitis..) this was somewhere around 138, nearly 5'7".. looked great in clothes, felt like Skeletor, esp my bony ass chest, and non-existent breast-tissue.. stripey PW pose.
145ish last October, at a friends wedding in a little black dress... 145-150 is good on me, and it was a good angle, my belly bulge wasn't showing.. no plastics, so I do have that amount of extra bits that mess with my head..
Face pic of me now, up about 15-20 from where I like to be, but the gain has stopped, and the losing is commencing, slowly but surely, I only weigh 1x a month for my own sanity. Learning that I cannot be a super-indulgent ass without consequences.. the carbs, sugar, and related BS all have an effect.. granted it's been a full on year to add the extra (something that would have happened at light-speed otherwise, and still maintaining lower than I ever really was able to prior.)
Anyway, short story- several years out and doing great & super happy with the outcome thus far. I have no need to count cals/diet etc.. My only downfall is the same trap that can snag anyone, too much processed crap, sugar & booze.. basically simple carbs. I cut that out and eat my fill of everything else (and a bit of the fun stuff, no probs..) eat the fun stuff ad lib, more than the real food=problems ensue.
