Natalie Gross still can't believe her mother is gone.
"I mean what we went through was bad. It was very, very, very bad," said Gross.
Fifty-year-old Carla Laster Gross went to Tijuana, Mexico for surgery in early June and died at the end of July.
The mother of five is now the fourth person who died after having weight loss surgery by Dr. Mario Almanza.
