Hello from Texas!

I am in the process of fulfilling insurance requirements to get approved to have the DS. After two more nutritionist visits (August and September), paperwork will be submitted to Aetna for approval. This is definitely serious business and a learning process. I feel like I am in a course, DS101, and I gladly accept the challenge to learn everything I can; it seems necessary to say the least. I also need the support. I am excited about getting to a healthier me!

welcome Aubrey, I agree with you that it is a learning process - DS101, I like that! That means, I am in DS201 - had the surgery, but lordy still learning how it all works and what my body needs and can tolerate. I am 6 ½ weeks out.
