Every cloud has a silver lining; mine was 9 pounds!

Well, I got this super nasty kidney infection. I was in the emergency room and took two weeks off from work. I'm back feeling better and on the mend.

I'd never been sick like this. Recoverying from the DS was easier than this infection.

However, I did not eat for 2 weeks. And.....drum roll please. 151 yesterday. I lost 9 pounds. I would not choose to do it this way, BUT, I'm only 16 pounds away from goal.

On one hand, I've had a severe kidney infection before, twice actually, so I sympathize with the pain you went through.

On the other hand, congratulations!!! It's not something I'd suggest you repeat, but at least you lost 9 pounds.

Well, I went off the antibotics two days ago and the water weight went away! 147.2 this morning. That is 11 pounds. Hope it sticks.
