Hello all,

I'm PO 6 weeks and have gained 2 lbs. I understand that this happens down the road.... But now? I'm hardly eating.
Saturday was amazing, I felt like I was 25 years old!!! If I have more days like that I won't know how to act.

Any thoughts on the gain.

1) STAY off the scale
2) Re-read rule #1
3) Only weigh at the doctor's office
4) Re-read rule #1

It happens...your body has decided you aren't eating enough and is starting to hold on to everything...FEED it more.

There's this bizarre phenomenon that you might not yet have experienced if you have not yet gone through puberty. It's called FLUID RETENTION.

Now chill out. You're fine.

Did you always gain every time you got on the scale before you had WLS? Did the number ever drop or stay the same? Of COURSE it did. So why do you think the number will ALWAYS be lower EVERY time you get on the scale now?
