I am heart broken

I just saw a post on FB that said "Rest in peace" on my very good friend's page in FB. Lisa was on tpn getting ready for a revision with Dr K at the end of the month to extend her CC. She has had other serious medical issues that nearly got her a year ago. I am trying like hell to confirm if true but I am ready to puke because it sounds like Pretty Girl Bounce from the old board has passed.

I will let you know what I hear but dammit this has me really upset.

Desperately trying to find out. She has battled some serious illness the last year.. Had a picc line infection as well as pancreatic and liver issues. She has been on TPN last several weeks trying to get labs up so Dr K could operate..... I don't think she was scheduled until end of the month.

I don't know specifics but it was just confirmed. She was such a sweet lady and has a high school aged son who was her world.

I am so damn sorry this happened! She was a bright spot on PB for a long time. What a tragedy for her family. Her medical/bariatric surgery history was a long and complicated mess. I am just so sad that it didn't end happily for her.

I know... I am crushed. We shared so much and went through hell the last 18 months. I feel so bad for her son who she just absolutely adored.

Scott, I don't remember her well, but I'm so sorry to hear this, and extend condolences to you, her friends and family on this great loss.

I was told her family doesn't know for sure what happened but she passed on the way to the hospital in an ambulance

@DSRIGGS I talked to her last month and the doctor that had taken her care over told her she had to go elsewhere because he no longer wanted to be bothered. She had to see him every day. Omg they were going to remove her entire stomach
