So I had my final surgical consult with Dr. Greenbaum. My surgery is exactly 2 weeks from today!! I told him how I did not want to wake up from surgery with anything other then the proper DS and he agreed to that. He is also going with the Hess method on me, although he did say that he would not be comfortable with giving me a cc length shorter then 75cm because I am considered a "lightweight", my BMI is 38 I started this journey at 42. So I have lost a little bit which is good. He typically does a 100 cc and 150 AL length I believe. I will have a drain and a feeding tube for 2 weeks as long as I don't have any complications so fingers crossed there. I'm just trying to get all of my ducks in a row before I go in. So know the dreaded 2 week diet begins!! So if anyone has any words of wisdom for me, I would love it!!!! These boards have been my saving grace I love reading all these posts. I may even be slightly obsessed LOL!
