successful revision

That is a very personal decision that will be unique to you and what kind of tool you need. If a person cannot or will not comply with the mandatory lifetime aftercare (supplements, regular lab work, dietary choices, etc), then NO...the DS is not a good revision option. It has the potential to kill if a person decides to screw around and not comply.

But if a person will do their part afterwards, it's the best of revision choices for an RNYer. Just my honest opinion. It was for me anyway.
