Questions about the bowel movements

I would be so aggravated to wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom unless there was a pregnancy or infant involved. But the fat consumption and calcium to control it all is something that I am planning on remembering.
I have an odd schedule (work nights). Usually go to bed about 7 AM usually wake up between 10 AM and Noon and go. The 10 AM to noon wakeup (but not the BM) was a 'feature' of my schedule pre-op. When I get up at 3 PM I usually need to go right now so sleeping in is not at option.

No sleeping in must be hard for you. Are you able to go back to sleep?

I’m currently on a poopfest - probably because I’m on a fresh guacamole binge. Waking up once or twice in the middle of the night to poop. Normally I’m more like 2-3 times in the morning (immediately and after eating) and then done for the day.

After the first few months, the vast majority of DS poop patterns are food and supplement dependent.

Guacamole? Well, then. Worth it!

So if once the guts calm done post-op, and the BMs become more solid and less frequent, does this mean the hemorrhoid pain is going to subside on its own?

I am just guessing because I haven't had the DS surgery yet but it would depend on just how bad your hemorrhoids are. Have you seen your dr or a GI specialist for it? Some are so severe they need surgical intervention.

If you don’t have one, I highly recommend buying a bidet or washlet for your toilet. They are moderately expensive and worth every penny. DS poops can be messy and sticky, and they give you a clean ass after every poop - and cleaning around hemorrhoids is particularly difficult. Plus, it feels good.

If you can find a model that fits your toilet WITHOUT the dryer, buy it. The dryer adds quite a bit to the cost, and I never use it. Nobody has time to wait fir that - pat dry with a little TP.
