Hi everyone! I am new to the site and 6 weeks out, sleeved.. Started at 311, then 286 day of surgery, now 255. I'm having trouble with protein shakes and vitamins, the important stuff.... But I feel great and won't give up!!
 
hello, nice to see you here.

the really important stuff is the liquid, first, how much of that are you getting in? then, assuming you are getting enough of that, what is the issue with the protein shakes? don't like them? too full?

Ditto @JackieOnLine, the most important this early- fluids!.. then worry about protein, then cals and everything else..

Sip an ounce or so every 15 mins, keep it lukewarm (if it helps- it did for me) and stick with non-milky protein shakes if needed for the first couple weeks- Syntrax Nectar, very diluted, was my sustenance.. Vitamins CAN wait until you have solids going down, or you may puke them (I did.) The first couple weeks can be touchy, but if you pussy-foot it, you should be good!
