yep, fasting today as I assume you are. all I have besides water is apple juice and broth, I didn't get any gatoraide or similar. I might be sorry, I don't know. my ClenPiq is cranberry flavored, hmmm.
it came with a sheet saying "read all this TWO days before and then again right before taking it" but too late for the first one!
I bought 2 packs of wet wipes and I have library books, assuming I won't get any or much sleep - especially since I have to drink the second dose at 3 AM and then tons of water before 4 AM which is the cut off.

do I have to shave my legs, do you think? they really need it!

I'd hate for my hairy legs to distract the surgeon at some tricky point.....

the woman who is taking me tomorrow is doing me a huge favor but has a bunch of kids and lives 40 minutes away and I'm afraid that after this fun night she will get me there late and they will cancel. she already said something like, oh if you are five minutes late it won't matter.

and that's just one thing I'm anxious about!

I’m outside DC. I’m using a service for people who don’t have relatives/friends who can takeus or be responsible. Most of my friends are like me, career ladies who can’t take off easily. And my friend who drove me to my breast biopsy pissed me off so much she is forbidden to ever take me anywhere. (She ignored my directions to miss a traffic jam and actually said to me at one point, “you’re not worried, are you?” Like umm, no of course not, I have a family history of breast cancer, a jagged 6-sided microcalcification in my right boob, a cyst in my left boob they’ve been monitoring for years, messed up hormones, and they called me like 6 times to schedule this biopsy, dipshit! Arghhhh—people are funny. I just had my 6-month follow up mammogram of that area and it’s good.

Anyway back to the service, they do mostly elderly type home care visits but also provide medical appointment driver/chaperone/escorts and they are supposed to pick me up at0745 to be at the surgical center by 0815, procedure at 0900 and then I should be released around 1100. It’s pricey but should be less drama than my friends, frankly. The gastro office had a list of vetted companies, so theoretically I shouldn’t get mugged or worse while high. I had needles with a passion so my big fear is the IV.

I have had 2 BMs since I took the dose around1700, and I feel pretty good all things considered. The taste of the beverage was sort of salty grape cough syrup. My guts are making a ton of racket.

We are so doing this!

I would totally use a service like that if there was one available. (I live in a pretty small town). the co-worker driving me was very, very kind to say yes when I asked but a bit of a flake.

I just had my first dose and it was a bit sweet but not too bad. I'm tracking how many cups of water I have after, they say a minimum of 5 "over the next 5 hours" but my theory was to get it all in ASAP so ...well, just get it done. I suppose I should drink extra if I can?

the directions say don't bring valuables or jewelry and wear comfortable clothes. do I even need my purse? maybe just with ID and no cash/credit cards?

Im awakewith lots of growling and grumbling going on. Tired! Feeling pretty decent. I grabbed some apple juice, everything tastes too sweet and thick now.

I haven't had a lot of noise for some reason.
so far I've only had water as the drink itself was too sweet. 2 hours until I take more of it and I wish I could sleep but I just lay back down (thank goodness I bought an electric blanket since I'm freezing) and in just 5-10 minutes I have to get up again.

my alarm was 2:55 AM and I'm now drinking the second one. much harder to swallow than the first one. tastes much worse.
