My husband and I just started our remodel to sell our home! I can't wait to be back in California, I miss the beach and it's scent so much! Anyway, we will be moving outside of the Bay Area and I'll need new Doctors. DS specialist being my primary concern then a primary care that understands the DS. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!!

Ekkk! I can't wait to move! I know it will be sometime next year but it can't get here soon enough!

Wow! Lucky you! I have a cousin in Half Moon Bay and some friends in Aptos and Santa Cruz. Not sure if any of those are near where you will land, but if any are, happy to ask them about doctors.

We will be in Contra Costa County which is the 94553 zip code! We are going to visit in October and I'll keep everyone updated on my move! It's hard because I can't share on Facebook yet!! I'm soooo happy! :leap:

Do you currently live in the Chicago area? We are going to take one last trip to Chicago from Saint Louis at the beginning of next year!

What a wonderful location to hang your hat! If Diana Cox hadn't relocated, you would have been in fairly close proximity, so she would be a great one to talk to about DS-savvy doctors!

We do live in Chicagoland but on the far end of the north shore, 25 miles from the loop. We're about 1 1/2 miles northeast of the Botanic Garden. I have cousins in Saint Louis/ Kirkwood (huge family) - they love it there!

Ahhh! We are in South City Saint Louis, my husband was born and raised here. I moved here for my son to go to school, be near his day and siblings! Plus the schools out in O'Fallon MO are WAY better than the best schools in SoCa. Then I meet my husband and stayed! I've taken him to visit a bunch of times and he and my brother are now Bros and my family loves him and wants both of us to move back!

I live relatively close to Contra Costa co (compared to the Midwest) but I don't know any of the medical folks there. Sorry!

My doctors were almost all in Palo Alto, because I really like Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF). It’s part of the Sutter Health system. And they work with Stanford for some specialists and the hospital.

But that’s too far for you probably. My PCP at PAMF was Dr. Alison Van Egeren. She was well trained by me and she LISTENS.
