Hey everyone! Not sure how this work but my name is Ash and I live in WV (but I’m from NJ). I had my surgery (Roux en Y) in 2013 and went from 280 to 172. I am now 234, while going through a HORRIBLE divorce. I wanted to look into DS but apparently my insurance says no. They said only revision. But only at CAMC facility (where I work as a nurse). I feel like I’m not going to be able to have DS and I’m so frustrated.

Hi Ash, I posted on your other thread but wanted to say I'm sorry that you had a horrible divorce and that the RnY failed you. As DS would be a revision from RnY, which is one of the most difficult procedures, you will need to get an vetted expert revision doctor with lots of experience. Dr. Keshishian is the best of the best, so worth a visit! If anyone can help with coverage, it's Diana. All the best.
