It's hard to believe it's been one year since removing my lapband and moving to DS. What a journey of ridding myself of something that was making me so sick and moving on to a way of life that's different and mostly positive.
  • Lighter by 141 pounds
  • Tastes/cravings changed
  • Food obsessions refocused
  • Struggling with body image (my brain thinking I'm my pre-op self)
  • Hoping to make it below my goal weight but realistic that it may not happen

Here's to my brain catching up and the remaining 30 pounds moving on...

Wow! Wonderful!!!! :) Catch up brain, Tiffany is doing amazingly well and you should be very proud of her and love her new wrapper!

Re.. (my brain thinking I'm my pre-op self)

I'm about 120lbs lighter than I was in may of 18... I finally had to throw out my old shirts and jackets... the pants went long ago... they looked like clown pants ... well I didn't wear them, I kept them, just in case... but I just tossed them with the shirts and jackets. Not tossed, but given to a church collection box. Somewhere in Africa there is going to be really well dressed big guy

The Good news is I'm small enough to shop the second hand shops... $5 shirts and $30 leather jackets here I come

I'm so glad for you! and it sure does take the brain longer to catch up, you have to give it time.
