Dr. Gary Anthone

Thank you, Munchkin. I would be interested to know if he is doing much longer cc's than that these days.
I have heard of 200 and 250's. Some with not outstanding results.

Non-scientific information, just something to think about. In my experience, I have observed that the shorter the female, the less likely you are to reach a normal BMI.

Thank you for the information. I can understand why a potential patient might have reservations with those lengths of common channel.

Anthone is the BEST. Any super obese person who has the option of having DS performed by Anthone and chooses a different Dr is making a big mistake, in my opinion. I'm 4 years post op ... best decision of my life.

You look great! Can you tell us the basics of the surgery Anthone is doing now?
  • Open or lap?
  • What are your common channel, alimentary, BP limb lengths?
  • What size was your sleeve?
  • How are your comorbidites? Any not fully resolved?
  • How are your labs?
  • What supplements are you taking?
  • Any issues? Gas/diarrhea/constipation/deficiencies/comorbidities/reflux? (Asking because we have lots of possible suggestions to help with these)
Welcome!
