The second is a study for doing the Sadi after a failed VSG. There is this report on just that.

I wonder if a study has ever been done on doing the DS after a failed VSG?

Edited to say...DUH....If I had kept reading in the link above I would have seen the article on that!
Ok now to go finish reading it.

Edited again to say...the article on converting from VSG to DS had no stats. It was mainly about performing the procedure.

Btw...that article was posted on another forum and the surgeon who created the Sadi replied and said this...

Hi, I'am the surgeon who introduced SADI-S in 2007. I'm not responsible for the name of the article, and even I can tell you that there are some errors in the text.
SADI-S is a single anastomosis duodenal switch. It is based in DS, it is really a simplification of the switch, and now, that 7 years have passed, and almost 200 patients have been submitted to SADI-S, I can tell you that results are similar to those obtained by classical DS.
