Sunday Weigh In (10/21/2018)

LW: 138
TW: 139

the dreaded dark armpit of the year is coming, I always have more depression in winter. :frown: I am applying for a different job, in home health, and hopefully the stress of changing (assuming I get hired) will be less than the stress of my current job. :cautious: I guess no workplace "family" is better than a toxic one!

Good luck on a new job.

Good on your weight.
Are you getting in 64 oz of fluid daily?
Are you still on any prescription medications?
Have you talked to your PCP?

Not entirely sure what I was last week, but at 63.5kg (139.99 lbs!) today. Found where there was a scale hidden after a month here. :ROFLMAO: About a kilogram less than my easy maintaining weight in Singapore. Not bad given all the Kaffee und Kuchen I have been indulging in - probably offset by all the walking! (And by having all the cake 'mit Sahne', or so I tell myself...)

This week I went to Salzburg and Nuremberg for day trips. In Salzburg, I walked up to the fortress, enjoyed an Aperol Spritz and cake on the terrace, walked around the Dom Museum and then ate a delicious schnitzel at a restaurant that has been around since 1663. They knew their stuff!

Off to Brussels on Wednesday for two weeks, so a slight change of pace - and a challenge given I don't speak French or Flemish.

Good for you! I adore German food. Kinda wish I had learned more about cooking it while there but cooking for one has always been problematic.
Fantastic! All that walking is good for you.

You will LOVE Brussels, I did. Altho I had my one and only car accident there. Some nitwit tried to pass me on the right when I was going straight.
Get outside the city as well. I loved it in Belgium. The people are very friendly. My favorite spot was a small bar (more like a pub/B&B) than what Americans consider a bar. The food was exceptional. Just remember, Flemish has it's roots in German and Dutch, just slightly different. It was being in the Netherlands that I found linguistically challenging. Dutch sounds similar to German but not. And it helped that back in high school and college while everyone else was taking Spanish, I took French.

Oops, I have been remiss in responding. Mostly yes on water and i added a few bottles of Smart Water just in case. The dizziness is significantly better. I take a 750 mg tab of Relafin most days for arthritis in my knee. The rest is vitamins. Have not see my PCP yet but will be getting my labs done soon and a one year follow up is scheduled later in the month. Thanks! I will keep you posted.
