But I'm thinking the same ==> There HAS to be some sort of recourse, because it sounds like the doctor botched her surgery. @Dawn - If I were you - I'd be looking for 2nd opinions. It totally sounds like your surgeon reneged on the procedure you guys had talked about and planned. I don't think I'd be allowing him to operate on me any further. I know a doctor generally wouldn't confess such a thing to a patient - but I'm curious - has it been said that your stricture is caused by the way your RNY to DS conversion was performed?She lives in Canada - read the posts about Canadian malpractice law.
