Pain Under my Ribs....

Hi everyone. I had a revision from VSG to DS on December 6th. I ended up with some pretty horrible complications. I ended up with a leak and two abscess’ … I spent a week in the hospital with two drains draining out the infection. It’s was a really really rough recovery. I’m doing really well now. The drains have come out since then but I’m experiencing pain under my ribs….the pain is worse under my right rib. Did anyone else have this? I also ended up with C. Diff which I’m on medication for. At first I thought it was just gas….but it’s always there….I just wanted to check here before I bug my surgeons office. Thanks guys!

Go ahead and bug your surgeon's office. Better to be safe this early out.

Yeah....I just called and she said she'd talk to the doc. Just curious if anyone else had this issue.

I also had my gallbladder out about 5 years ago...just an fyi

I was just about to mention gall bladder. But be aware that you can STILL get gallstones without a gall bladder, and they can get caught in the bile duct between the liver and duodenum.
