I'm so sorry, I'm new to all of the lingo/abbreviations. What does DS side mean?? Dr. Cottam did my sleeve.

DS is for a surgery called duodenal switch. It's a combination of a sleeve and alteration of the intestines to provide malabsorption of calories.
