Hello I am a pre op stoma revision

Hello,
I’m new to the group. Hoping I can get some guidance and feedback from anyone who isgoing for or already had a revision surgery.Please share your experience and weight loss expected on average the second time around.

My doctor said not to expect the same results as my first surgery. I can’t find information on the average weight loss

Welcome! Saying not to expect the same results is awfully vague. Did he say anything about what results you COULD expect? That would be much more meaningful. Did he discuss what type of revision he plans on doing, how many he's done before, what kind of complication rate he's experienced, and what results prior patients have had?
No matter what your reasons for seeking revision, you need as much information as possible about all your options, and the potential risks and potential benefits of each option, to make an informed decision.
