My name is Connie and I am a 60 yr old female from Pennsylvania. I have begun the process to have a GB to DS revision with Dr. Bonnani after regain of 80 lbs. Out of the 100 lbs I lost. I have Lipedema (the disease they call fat) and would love to hear from anyone having a revision and/or those also having been dx'd with Lipedema. (Not Lymphedema) I had my Abdominal CT and was cleared to continue the process. I see the Psych Dr. This month and have my first nutrition appt. The same day. Then in 6 months my revision. Anxious to meet you all! I left facebook permanently due to privacy concerns and I miss my DS groups!

Hi and welcome Connie! I had a virgin DS in 2012 and have lipedema. DS helped significantly with reduction of swelling and overall limb dimension, but, routine of manual lymph drainage massage and wearing custom Elvarex stockings are still in order. All the best!
