DS on Friday!

Hi everyone! Well, my husband and I are in LA and had our first appointment with Dr. Keshishian this morning. After all of the amazing things I've heard about him, I had very high expectations. He surpassed all of them!! He is such a compassionate, caring, and brilliant doctor!! I feel so fortunate to be under his care - and so thankful we made the trip from DC to LA to come to him!

So, tomorrow is registration and then Friday morning is surgery. I'm so excited to finally get the DS!

So I've asked my husband to post an update for this group on Friday after the surgery is complete.

Keep sending positive thoughts, and make some room on the loser's bench.

Thank you all for everything so far, because I certainly wouldn't be where I am today without you guys!!

Hooray! You are on the right path. Looking forward to hearing more. Here are a couple tips.

- First day post up is really hard.
- Gets a little better every day, but the first week was hell.
- You will heal on the outside quickly, your insides take much longer. A month for the outside, I'm 3.5 months out and still having trouble with dense meat. Be patient.
