Are there any special considerations before lab testing?

I was just wondering if there are any special considerations before getting my labwork done?
I know I should be fasting but I read you should fast from vitamin A for 48 hours prior to testing. Is that really necessary? What about other common DS testing? TIA

I typically stop mine two days before.

If I'm getting my bloodwork on Tuesday morning, I take my Monday morning vites and stop all the rest of my supplements (except probiotics and meds), and I don't take my Tuesday morning vites until after the blood draw.
