Any WLS has some "rules" like dieting that you have to live with. An example with DS is low carb and vitamins, or RNY is low cals, carbs and fat plus vitamins. It's not easy no matter what you choose there will be work involved.

To be completely honest I had that exact same thought process about being a DR number 6 and they all have to start somewhere. It back fired horribly on me. I really hope when you get insurance all worked out the rest is smooth sailing and your experience will be much better then mine.

It's a big step you are taking I think it's normal and expected to have those butterflies. Take it one day at a time you got this :-).

@Larra my sons 18th bday is on Dec 5th so before my dads chemo on Dec 4th were going to do a Thanksgiving dinner on Dec 3rd. A couple of months late but better late then never lol :-). We have a lot to celebrate this year.

To make you suffer and build more self doubt cause it's so freakin hard to stick too. (imho)

Finally got the feeding tube out. The best news of all is I got my eating under control today and even hit the gym. The huge hole looks like another belly button and is leaking alot but the DR said that's normal and will leak for 72hrs. Finally baby the real healing can begin whoo hoo.

Scary stuff that's for sure. I'm glad you advocated for yourself and got the scan. It might not give your peace of mind right now but at least some answers are coming soon.

So sorry for your loss. It's amazing that you can reconige these gifts in time of grieving.

Great job getting the ct scan to either find something or at least put your mind at ease. I get the paranoia I go through it sometimes too, oh a pain in my shoulder it has to be another leak type thing. I totally get it. You will get better you have to allow yourself time, it might look healed...

Ya that's the problem kitchen sink and all lol. They still make Twinkies in the US? We haven't had them in years in Canada
