Finally... First infusion on Oct 23rd, and the rest on the subsequent Tuesdays after. Last one is the week of Thanksgiving! So glad to have this finally set.

Update - Venofar NOT ordered. And Kaiser continues to drag their feet. My Primary says that my iron levels are normal, and an infusion would be harmful. The Bariatric Dr has gone silent, wont' return calls to me OR the Primary, or respond to emails. :( Labs from 7/31 Iron - 79 TIBC - 323 TIBC...

Meeting with Fremont Bariatric for Kaiser on Monday to try to hit all of their hoops. Dr. Tested Ferritin and it's now at 10. :( didnt order the other iron levels this time around though. Sick and tired of feeling tired. All other vits are doing well, but I'm not absorbing the iron it seems...

Aww thanks!! I'm 10 months out and from when I came home from the hospital, I'm 110lbs down. 135 lbs from my highest weight. I need to start getting more fully body pics, but I keep comparing selfies and can't believe the differences! And I'm doing things I never thought I would again. Taking...

I had my surgery July 20th with Rabkin. I'll see you Wednesday!! Knock on wood, I've been doing really well. 295 when I got home from the hospital and now 213. Onederland is just around the corner! :) I tolerate everything really well, but admit I haven't pushed dairy yet. My energy is back...

Just over a week out from surgery. LW- 295 TW- 267.5 Prob won't ever see a jump like that again. LoL glad to have the surgery/iv weight off so I can watch progress. :)

It's here!! Tomorrow is surgery day! Checked into my hotel for the night, back at 6:30am tomorrow to see Dr. Rabkin and join the losers bench. :) Just have to get down this second bottle of SuPrep. Ughhh.

Surgery is approved, authorized and scheduled. July 20th. I join the losers bench.

Dr. Rabkins office now has complete surgery authorization on file from Kaiser. It's really happening!!! Should have a surgery date hopefully tomorrow. I keep pinching myself!
